The Lac d’Ardres

Quiet and peaceful in winter, lively and festive in summer, the lake of Ardres is enjoyable in every season. Paths on wooden pontoons, picnic tables, a pedalos rental service (Pédalos la Frégate ) and a leisure park for children (Eurolac) invite you to relax in this preserved site.

Walking along the Calais seafront

When you’ve finished building sandcastles and you want to see the ferries up close or point them out to the little ones, the jetty provides the perfect vantage point. It is a popular spot for anglers.

Cap Blanc-Nez

30 minutes (by car)

Cap Blanc-Nez is a cape on the Côte d'Opale. The cliffs are a perfect vantage point to see hundreds of ships, from oil tankers to little fishing trawlers, plying the waters below. On a clear day, the emblematic white cliffs of Dover on the English shore can be seen.

La Coupole - History Center

HISTORY AND SCIENCE COME TOGETHER Now made into a WWII museum, visit the V2 launching base “La Coupole” that once threatened London, and take a trip through the universe in the brand new 3D planetarium.

Nausicaá Centre National de la Mer

Nausicaá, Centre National de la Mer is a public aquarium located in Boulogne-sur-Mer in France. It is the largest public aquarium of Europe.
